Is there something that is stopping you from doing whatever you want to do? It may feel like you are in your own prison. Want to do it, you need to do it but the fear of doing it cripples or prevents you from doing it. You may be asking yourself, what will happen if I do that or go to that place or on holiday or change jobs or go networking? It can be isolating.
Working with you, I will get to tap on all
the parts of the anxiety, all the fear or the x and the things you don’t want to think about. This will help to reduce the intensity of all those feelings and help to bring it under control. Putting you in control will relieve other anxieties related to stress too.
We all feel unhappy from time to time, events that change things can make us feel out of sorts, but if these feelings persist, or are aggravated by other issues such as stress or anxiety, it can be difficult to live with. By focusing on the specific aspects of your unhappiness, we can gently reduce the trapped energy that is keeping you emotionally in an unhappy place. When you are Tapping and looking for repeated patterns that have occurred in your lifetime, we can get to work to clear the energy and energise your optimism.
There are lots of reasons why we suffer from headaches, it may be poor posture, tension, stress, or it could be related to other issues. I can help you to reduce the intensity of your headache by targeting how you are feeling during your session and show you how to work on headaches after the session has finished.
Being tired is often attributed to the odd late night out or long working hours, or perhaps a new baby, but persistent tiredness can affect your ability to enjoy life. There are different reasons for feeling tired and drained of energy. When you have your sessions, I ask questions about how you feel, where you feel it in your body. If you are having trouble sleeping, Tapping before you go to bed can make you feel relaxed and calm, and if you wake up in the night, just a couple of rounds of Tapping can very often help you get back to sleep!
Does self-doubt stand in your way? Do you have difficulty in seeing that there are good things about you? When we can’t always see the good qualities that we possess it can become difficult to remain motivated and we may feel that we can never achieve our goals. It makes us doubt our abilities and talents and our worth.
Where does that self doubt live in your body, what is it like, what does it remind you of. All these questions really help to get to the heart of your self doubt and together we can clear the first, the worst or last time you felt this way. Emotions are processed in your Amygdala which is in the Limbic system of your brain. When we are Tapping and focusing on all the emotions attached to how you feel, we can reduce the feelings of self doubt and replace them with new confidence for your future.
Why do we procrastinate? Is there a fear in there? What type of fear? Fear of change – if you do it it is done, what will happen next – what will change if you finish what you have got to get done, you have to start something new – do you know? If you don’t do it what will happen? Is it about staying on safe ground?
There are so many techniques to choose from, but for procrastination I really enjoy using a technique that you use as if you have done the thing that you have been putting off or dodging, By connecting with your Amygdala to calm the feeling that what you need to achieve is entirely possible, the mental blockage is lifted.
I’m not as good as everyone else – I don’t deserve it – do you hear those thoughts? Even successful people can lack confidence. Highly qualified people who have amazing jobs and talents and skills can still become a victim of imposter syndrome. If you are thinking along the lines of : everyone else knows more than I do – I know the least and I’m going to sit here and soak it up and not say much. Soak up their knowledge. Tapping can help you to open your mind to the possibility that you ARE capable, that you ARE as good as others and that you CAN do it. And then how incredible will that make you feel?
Grief, as a response to loss, can affect us in many ways: socially, spiritually, physical and it can be instrumental in changing our behaviours. It is natural to go through a range of physical and emotional processes as we gradually come to terms with the loss and as it affects everyone in different ways it is difficult to know what to do sometimes. There are no right or wrong ways to feel and a wide range of emotions can be experienced such as anger, depression etc. Grief is not limited to the loss of a person or a pet, it could be the loss of a job, the end of a relationship or a move to a new place.
My sessions offer a very gentle way of working on a painful emotion that can easily leave you feeling overwhelmed. I use different techniques that allow you to move forward emotionally. By working to accept your loss and by setting free the trapped energy that surrounds your bereavement. When we respond to a deeply disturbing event that overwhelms us, we are responding to a trauma. Our ability to manage everyday life, our distress and feelings of helplessness can prevent us from functioning on a normal level.

Most of us learn guilt during our childhood and this emotion serves to ground us when we have stepped outside the boundaries of our morals or core values. However, guilt can also be a force that causes us distress if we have no control over what has happened for example. Dealing with the feelings of unhappiness that guilt brings can be hard to manage. Together we can gently revisit and
challenge feelings of guilt that you may have had for a very long time and review them. You have the opportunity to look at the situation from another point of view. Letting go of guilt is very powerful and will help you to move on with your life.
Fear is primal – it is a powerful emotion that can lead us to become agitated, physically experience symptoms such as panic attacks and anxiety and we cannot always deal with fear rationally. Fear alerts us to the presence of danger or harm. In your session I will ask you when you first felt the fear, where do you feel it in your body and what does that feel like? Your Tapping session allows you to
look at the aspects of your feelings and to see what is stopping you from being the best version of yourself.
Negative Internal Message

In bereavement – in anxiety, in stress, in imposter syndrome – anger is a big part of a lot of emotions that are in the way. I can help you to identify what has made that feeling stay – what has anchored it. What is keeping it there? Once we can find out where it has been anchored before and what it is attached to, we can work on getting rid of what is keeping it there.
If you experience panic attacks, it can overwhelm you and alongside the fear and discomfort that you feel, the palpitations and increased heart rate, there may also be a fear of embarrassment if anyone notices your trembling or shaking hands or breathlessness. By using the techniques that I will show you during our sessions, you will feel grounded and able to defend yourself against anxiety. When you are Tapping and working on the aspects of your anxiety, you are connecting with the Amygdala which is in the Limbic system of your brain and it processes emotions. By Tapping and talking about how you feel, how you really feel about your anxiety, where you can feel it in your body and how it makes you feel right now we are able to send a calming message to the Amygdala so that it comes down from the high alert it has been on and you feel less and less anxious.
Low Self Esteem
When your perception of your appearance, your skills or fear, anxiety or depression are getting you down, low self esteem can be a powerful emotion that steals your confidence and makes you feel deflated. I can help you increase your self esteem and build confidence by unpicking and gently revisiting when you noticed your confidence had started to leave you. Experiences, conversations and memories from when you are very young can easily affect your confidence throughout your life. I am a mind soothing confidence builder, seeing your confidence show up for the first time or return to you when it has left you is always a fantastic experience.
Abuse can take many forms, physical or verbal maltreatment, injury, assault, or even pure neglect. These issues can affect the way we live our lives, the way we see ourselves and others.
I will gently work with you to reclaim yourself by using techniques that work to clear any traumatic energy. These issues can affect the way we live our lives, the way we see ourselves and others. I have worked with my clients to clear the emotional energy that keeps feelings, memories and experiences alive. Everyone’s experience is their own, during your sessions we use a combination of reframing, positive affirmation and gentle but effective techniques to build confidence and self esteem while clearing the blocked energy that is in the way of your future.
Self-sabotage may contain elements of Fear of Change – fear of what may happen in the future fear, or fear of allowing something new to come into your life. What happens to all the things that are there now. E.g. going for a new job, all of those ‘unknowns’. I work with people who don’t want to drive – it’s a pretty common issue that affects a lot of people. When they do not feel happy about going in the car or only driving to safe places that they know e.g. parents, school, work, shop etc. The unknown and how you will cope with that – can lead to procrastination. Tapping helps with chasing the pain.
I can help you to identify your triggers of anxiety/memory/experience of something that happened that was maybe not a good memory or experience, and which has led to different types of behaviour such as avoidance – panic attacks and anger. By unpicking and finding what is at the root of that origin, we can learn to reduce the anxiety and overcome the fear that has caused this self-sabotage.
Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)
Seasonal affective disorder ( SAD ) is a type of depression that’s related to changes in seasons, where mood dips and energy levels lower. This may be due to reduced level of sunlight during autumn and winter as the decrease in sunlight may disrupt your body’s internal clock and lead to feelings of depression.
Feeling tired, no energy, feeling in a low mood and knowing that when the summer is over, the autumn and winter are on their way again! Has there been an episode in your life that has enhanced the negative aspects of autumn/winter? By tuning into how you feel when the clocks change and the evening and longer really helps in your session to clear the energy and reframe how you see that time of year. When we use a set up phase in the session to say how you are feeling combined with a really positive affirmation like ‘I choose to fill my body with sunshine every day’ makes a huge difference to how you might be feeling. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is an anxiety disorder caused by very stressful, frightening or distressing events which often are then relieved through nightmares and flashbacks. Feelings of isolation, irritability and guilt may also be experienced, and this can affect sleeping and relationships.
Tapping has been used for PTSD, since the 1990’s to calm powerful emotions which are processed in the Amygdala which is in the Limbic system of our brains. We can gently work on specific events and reduce the intercity of your experience. During your sessions we will clear the energy that is attached to the event we are working on. Your session is a safe and confidential place to work on the issues that are in your way.
Isolation / Loneliness
Loneliness is the way we perceive the difference between our desired levels of contact and our actual levels of contact. Are we on our own most of the time and does this cause us to feel sad? Isolation is more that we are physically unavailable to others. Being surrounded by lots of people isn’t always a cure for loneliness, My Tapping sessions are a safe and confidential place to talk about how you feel at your most vulnerable. The techniques that I use in your session work to clear the energy that is having a negative effect on your thoughts and feelings.
Accepting the Menopause
When women reach their late 40s they may experience small or significant symptoms that are linked to the changes in hormones in the body and these can range from hot flushes, feelings of self doubt/low mood to weight gain. Tapping is a wonderful complementary therapy that you can use between sessions when you need it.
